Hunter Cottage

Located within the local community of Mount Holly and adjacent to our main campus, this Treatment Program serves five boys ages 12-18. The integrated approaches include cognitive behavioral therapy, psycho-dynamic and psycho-education treatment. These approaches are applied concurrently in order to provide residents, staff and caregivers with a common language and understanding of the treatment provided.

Sutphin Cottage

Located within the local community of Mount Holly and adjacent to our main campus, this Specialty Bed unit serves five boys ages 10-14. The program was developed and operates with a specific Trauma-Informed treatment approach to serve the youth with a program that is “uniquely tailored to the particular needs of the youth in a manner that extends beyond the usual expectations” of residential care. This program adopts the tenets consistent with Child Centered Therapy, Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Functional Family Therapy (FFT), the Pathways model, the Sanctuary Model, and Trauma Affect Regulation: Guidelines for Education and Therapy (TARGET). This program also entails a multi-system team that incorporates knowledge of trauma into comprehensive service planning

Smithburg House

Located in Jackson, NJ, this Specialty Bed living unit serves five boys ages 10-14. The program was developed and operates with a specific Trauma-Informed treatment approach to serve the youth with a program that is “uniquely tailored to the particular needs of the youth in a manner that extends beyond the usual expectations” of residential care. Harmony House

Located in Robbinsville, NJ this Specialty Bed living unit serves five girls ages 11-14. Hillside employs a Trauma-Informed treatment approach to serve the youth with a program that is “uniquely tailored to the particular needs of the youth in a manner that extends beyond the usual expectations” of residential care . This proposed trauma- informed program will adopt the tenets consistent with Child Centered Therapy, Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Functional Family Therapy (FFT), the Pathways model, the Sanctuary Model, and Trauma Affect Regulation: Guidelines for Education and Therapy (TARGET). This trauma-informed program also entails a multi-system team that incorporates knowledge of trauma into comprehensive service planning . Therefore a multi-disciplinary treatment team will be comprised of a Psychiatric APN, Registered Nurse and LPN, Group therapists (Music and Art), Individual therapist (TF-CBT), teacher or instructional aide, Program Directors, residential manager, direct care staff, the family, and the case management entity.
