Balance House

Located in Titusville, NJ this Psychiatric Community Home (PCH) serves five boys 15-19 meeting PCH IOS as specified by CSC. The population served will include clients who have been in an inpatient Children's Crisis Intervention Services program or an Intensive Residential Treatment Services program or those who may possibly be diverted from attending an IRTS program.  The program’s trauma-informed treatment and Illness Management Recovery modalities will individually address the behavioral and emotional symptoms as well as the co morbidity of any possible psychiatric diagnoses

Horton Cottage

Located in Mount Holly, NJ this Psychiatric Community Home (PCH) serves five girls in ages 15-19 meeting PCH IOS as specified by CSC. Additionally Horton Cottage will serve youth with Developmental Disabilities, using positive behaviorial support and Applied Behavioral Analysis. The population served will include clients who have been in an inpatient Children's Crisis Intervention Services program, an Intensive Residential Treatment Services program or those who may possibly be diverted from attending an IRTS program.  The program’s trauma-informed treatment and Illness Management Recovery modalities will individually address the behavioral and emotional symptoms as well as the co morbidity of any possible psychiatric diagnoses.

Tamayo House

Located on our main campus, Tamayo House is a residential living unit that has undergone extensive renovations. This state-of-the-art facility serves eight males, ages 13-17 and is designed to enhance the lives of children and youth with autism, behavioral  disorders,developmental disabilities and their families.

The modalities of treatments will include Applied Behavior Analysis(ABA), Treatment and Education of Autistic and Related CommunicationHandicapped Children (TEACCH), and Behavior Modification.    Treatment efforts beginning at admission focus on the individual’s behaviors, which are maladaptive and interfere with the child’s ability to participate in their community and their family in a safe and meaningful way.  The approach focuses on a significant reduction and/or elimination of these maladaptive behaviors, allowing for more constructive relationships and the development of new skills that will enable the youth’s successful reintegration into the family or community. Each Child will have a treatment team comprised of an LCSW, a BCBA, Residential manager, Special Education Teacher, Registered Nurse, and Psychiatrist.

Referrals are received through the Special Residential Treatment Unit of Children System of Care.
